About Us

Coldwater Creek Meats was started after Brad and Kate Baker moved their family to a new home outside Grand Rapids, Michigan. The home was situated on a picturesque pasture alongside Coldwater Creek. 

A friend convinced Brad to put his new pasture to use raising a few beef cattle. When the beef sold quickly, the Bakers raised more cattle. The family made a commitment to raise high-quality beef breeds on a grass-fed, grain-finished diet for the most well marbled, flavorful meat. 

Recently, Coldwater Creek Meats expanded to include more pasture for raising additional cattle. 

Word spread quickly in the local community and our customers continue to find reasons even beyond taste, quality and our humane rearing standards to fill their freezers with Coldwater Creek beef.
