Beef: Getting Started
Step 1: Select your pick-up month below. This is when your meat will be fully aged, vacuum-sealed, frozen, and ready to come home.
Step 2: Select your portion. Choose from ⅛, ¼, ½, or the whole animal.
Step 3: New customers submit a one-time $100 deposit. If you’re back for seconds, you get to skip this step.
Then sit back and wait for pick-up day while we take good care of your cattle and butcher the meat to your specifications. Before pick-up, we’ll give you a call to settle up and let you know when to swing by the butcher.
How Much Will it Cost?
Our beef is sold by its hanging weight at a price of $5.49 per pound which includes the meat and all processing costs. This is an out-the door price. The final weight of your portion will be known once the meat is hanging at the butcher, about two weeks before pick up.
Average Hanging Beef Weights:
1/8 = 100 lbs
1/4 = 200 lbs
1/2 = 400 lbs
Whole = 800 lbs
